THANKYOU and GOODBYE to CHAIRMAN Donal Skelly

At last night’s AGM, we said a virtual goodbye and thanks to outgoing Chairman, Donal Skelly.

Part of our club for over fifteen years and occupying many roles from team manager to hon.secretary and more recently, Chairman for the last three years, Donal and the Skelly family embody the spirit of kufc.

A family affair for sure with Andrew and Ryan both excelling as players and Monica Skelly ,a treasured member of the behind the scenes hard working crew, we are indebted to them all.

As Chairman, Donal was the driving force behind so many achievements, the successful campaign to save Ballycullen, the subsequent development of clubhouse facilities, the introduction of girl’s football and football for all to name but a few.Indeed our girl’s section has benefitted hugely from the sponsorship of Sprint Coatings Limited directly led by Donal.

We were privileged to work with Donal, an absolute gentleman, always so professional and obliging. He will be missed but we know his experience and helpful nature will benefit our club for years to come.
