Hi everyone.

The Mini World Cup is just around the corner so here's a quick note to let you know we are closing the registrations for the Mini World Cup this morning and starting to formulate teams

We will circulate these and the fixture times over the weekend.

In the meantime and as a guide, below will be close enough to the times per age group so you can plan ahead etc.

Parking
Like every year, we encourage everyone to walk or cycle if you can. The weather looks good so we would appreciate for space if you could do that. For those driving, our Knocklyon Mens Shed members will direct you once entering the gates.

Matches
Matches will be no longer than 30 minutes in total.
Each team will get 3 group games (Mon, Tues, Wed) and semi final (Thurs) and a final (Fri) finishing up Friday evening with a presentation of medals and goody bags directly after each final.

Match time Guide
2017 Boys / 2016 & 2017 Girls - circa 6pm
2016 Boys - circa 6:30pm
2015 / 2014 Girls - circa 7pm
2015 Boys - circa 7-30pm
2014 Boys - circa 6:30 / 7pm
2013 Boys - circa 7pm / 7:30pm
2012 / 2013 girls - circa 8pm
2012 Boys - circa 7:30 / 8pm

Meeting place
Each child will be picked on a team with a country name. That country's flag will be displayed on the fences around the car park, clearly displayed with the flag and country name. The child should line up with the rest of their team at their flag at least 15 minutes before kick off time.

A pitch co-coordinator will come and bring the team from the car park to the pitch. (Each pitch is numbered and named).  Parents can then collect the children off the pitch straight after the game.

Tee-shirts
On the first night, we will give the kids their team tee shirts and these are to be warn for the remainder of the weeks matches.

Shop & BBQ
The shop will be open each night for all the usual refreshments as well as a BBQ on site serving hotdogs and burgers thanks to our friends in Wilsons.

First Aid
St Johns Ambulance will be on site all week to ensure everyone is looked after if there are any small knocks or injuries.

Everyone is really looking forward to the week ahead.

See you soon,

Team KUFC
